Mary Venable Vaughn was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She founded the Community & Faith Outreach Initiative, Inc. last 2007 and has been using her God-given talents to help her community grow and acquire resources. She has authored two books, Members Class 102, a teaching workbook that would help new and old members of the church, and Stepping Into Discipleship - Our Journey Begins, a book that God has put in her heart, which she has written. She is married to Rev. Emmanuel J. Vaughn and was blessed with four children.
